Our principal studio - the Hub - is located in Stathern in the middle of the Vale of Belvoir.
We currently have several designated satellite studios for one-to-one learning around the East Midlands.
West Bridgford (Nottingham)
Bingham (Nottinghamshire)
Southwell (Nottinghamshire) - five minutes walk from the town centre on West Gate, Southwell.
Long Bennington (Lincolnshire, just off the A1 between Grantham and Newark)
As of November 2012, we have acquired a unit in North Hykeham to service the Lincoln area.
Why we teach in studios:
Experience has shown us over the years that when pupils come to a studio to learn they are much more likely to get more from tuition than at home.
It may be more convenient for parents to have a tutor come to the house, but all too often domestic culture and the distractions of home life can act to undermine the pupil’s attention. Home is ultimately for relaxation, family, and enjoyment – which probably explains why many of us purchase exercise equipment in good faith that we’ll use it regularly only to find it gathering dust in the garage! On the other hand, when pupils come to our studios they are much more likely to have prepared their minds for learning (just as we do as we travel to the gym) – they’ll have their book bag and homework and will have left the timely distractions of siblings, friends, computers, and tv behind.
